There's something quietly magical about reaching for a cup that feels made for you. The colours catch the light. The design wraps softly around the glass. And when you take that first sip, the artwork is right there, looking back at you from the inside the cup.
So… What Exactly is UV DTF?
UV DTF stands for Ultraviolet Direct-to-Film. It's a printing technique where a design is printed onto a special transfer film using UV-cured inks, then carefully applied onto a surface, in our case, your favourite glass cup or tumbler.
What makes it special isn't only the technology. It's the application.
UV DTF designs don't crack, peel, or fade in the way cheap stickers do. The inks cure under ultraviolet light, fusing into a flexible, water-resistant film that hugs the curve of your cup beautifully.
Why Ours Look Different (and Why That's Intentional)
Walk into any high-street shop and you'll find printed cups everywhere. Most are mass-produced with a single-sided print, often a simple decal applied at speed, in their thousands.
Our cups are a different proposition.
Every Pink Coco UVDTF cup is double-sided, meaning the design is visible not only from the outside, but also from the inside of the glass as you drink. The colours pour through with the light. The artwork meets you mid-sip.
This is rarely done on the high street, because it takes time, precision, and a real love for the craft.
The Art Behind Every Cup
Here's something we're quietly proud of: every single design on a Pink Coco cup is original artwork.
Some pieces are hand-drawn by our founder. Others are created by independent artists we've discovered online: beautifully talented people whose work we've purchased proper licences for, so they're paid fairly for their craft. Each illustration carries a story, a maker, and a voice behind it.
The Beauty of Being Hand-Curated
Because every cup is finished by hand, no two are ever completely identical.
So there will be tiny differences. They're the gentle difference between something pressed out by a machine in its thousands, and something made for you, by a person who cared while making it.
If you've ever loved a hand-poured candle, or a vintage piece that felt one-of-a-kind, you already understand.
So, About the Price
We hear this sometimes, and we'd rather speak to it openly than dance around it. Yes, a Pink Coco UVDTF cup costs more than something pulled from a high-street shelf. Here is what that price actually holds:
- Original, licensed artwork (creators paid fairly, never copied)
- A premium UV DTF film, not a printed sticker but a Double-sided application so the design shows from inside and out.
- Each cup is curated and finished by hand, in small batches, So your cup will remain slightly unique to you.
- The designs are timeless and they are built to last long.
You aren't paying for a printed cup. You're paying for a small piece of someone's craft carefully made, ethically sourced, and built to last.
